Our Commitment to You -
Wise Stewardship
Through many incredible ways, God has graciously provided many
faithful friends who have sustained the worldwide ministries
of Word of Life. The responsibility to provide financial accountability
is taken very seriously. In II Corinthians 8:20-21, the Apostle
Paul gave instructions concerning funds entrusted to the Lord's
work... that no man should blame us in the abundance which
is administered by us. Providing for honest things, not only
in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
Word of Life is committed to move ahead in ministry as the
Lord provides. |
Your Involvement in
TARGET 2010 - Broaden the Base
To realize the goals of an aggressive effort such as TARGET
2010, a solid foundation is necessary. The purpose of Word
of Life's initiative to Broaden the Base is to
encourage current friends as well as new friends to become
actively involved in the ministry in four distinct ways:
|
Prayer
|
Promotion
|
|
Participation
|
Provision
|
The stewardship focus of TARGET 2010 is a $7 million
campaign to financially position the ministry for the future.
This thirty-month (June 2001 - December 2003) initiative is
two fold:
President's Council and Friends
of the Ministry supporters make a commitment
to give undesignated monthly or annual gifts.
GOAL - $3,000,000
Broaden the Base Capital Campaign supporters
make a commitment to provide matching gifts
of $2 million that will be used to challenge
other interested friends toward an additional
$2 million.
GOAL - $4,000,000
