Dear Potential STCer:
Summer camp is just six months away and we are expecting another amazing season here at Word of Life. Today our online application process for summer camp staff is now available. As we pull plans together, I wanted to make you aware of some exciting changes in our Summer Training Corps (STC) program.
Beginning this coming summer, STCers will be officially joining the ranks of our “short-term missions” team here at Word of Life. If you’ve served here before, you already know that being part of the summer team is not simply a job. It’s a real ministry that leads to radically changed lives…yours and the lives of so many others.
Our STC program is designed to get you going for God. Get ready to grow and to put your faith into action like never before! Special ministry training, activities and outreach are planned throughout the entire summer. Don’t forget the huge benefit of earning up to $3,000 in Word of Life Bible Institute scholarships by serving during your junior and senior years.
As part of this new program, Word of Life will cover your room and board for the coming summer. A weekly stipend is available for those who choose the option of raising support for this ministry. We already have a team and tools in place to help you in this process.
