Word of Life Inn & Conference Center is a year-round Christian resort offering the very finest in accommodations, dining and programs. Our attentive staff is second to none. Located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state within an easy drive of many northeast metropolitan areas, the Inn hosts the best in Bible teachers, Christian artists and special events. Each specially focused weekend (the Women's Conferences, Faithful Men, Marriage and Parenting seminars, Law Enforcement conference, Physicians and Pastors Conferences) is aimed at building and increasing a Biblical foundation for personal lives. A: From I-87, use Exit 26 for the Bible Institute Campus. For the Inn use Exit 27, if traveling north on I-87, or Exit 28, if traveling south from Canada. Q: What About traveling arrangements? A: The nearest commercial airport from the south is in Albany, 85 miles from Schroon Lake, and from the north is in Montreal, 100 miles. Word of Life vans make scheduled runs to the Albany County Airport. Schroon Lake has a 3,000 foot paved airstrip for private planes. When possible, Word of Life staff will meet buses and planes – please call our registers at least 48 hours in advance. Q: What should I bring? A: Appropriate attire for adults is dressy casual. Dress clothes are required for most evening meals, including jackets for men, during the summer season. Tennis type shorts are permitted at breakfast time only. Bring a Bible, modest one-piece bathing apparel, beach robe, and sports equipment. Q: What are the accommodations available? A: Honeymoon/Executive: Queen bed in Conference Center, A/C, desk, sofa, and a Jacuzzi bathtub. Deluxe: A/C, Queen bed or 2 double beds in Conference Center.
