Still in Guatemala, with two kids! - Posted: February 19, 2010   by Summer (Marrero) and Maynor Cordon - 1991 , 1992
Just a little update. I moved to Guatemala as a single missionary in '02, met and then married my Guatemalan hubby in '05 and we now have two kids: Alex, our son, will be 3 in May and Megan is 15 months. I work now with a ministry called Estrategia de Transformacion (Strategy of Transformation). I handle all logistics for groups and individuals who come to do Vision Trips (instead of missions trips). Let me know if you're interested! I'd love to hear from you guys!

Married! - Posted: February 17, 2010   by Andrea (Fisher) and Daniel Brame - 2000
Well, nine years after making it out of the "Bridal" Institute as a still-single woman, I'm now the happy wife of a wonderful and godly man. We were married February 6, 2010 and are now living in Nashville, TN. If anyone knows of a good church there, we're looking! I'd love to hear from any of my old WOLBI friends. I know you're out there. If you're on Facebook, look me up ... Andrea Fisher Brame. God Bless! Andrea :)

Where is everyone... answered - Posted: January 26, 2010   by Roger Sible - 1976
On Facebook! Anyone from the class of '84 who went out on "The Revelation" tour out there?

Hello classmates - Posted: January 21, 2010   by Roger Sible - 1976
Okay... where is everyone? I know that God's been doing wonderful things in our lives in the past 34 years, as well as bringing challenges and trials. Let us not forget the time we shared for a year, and what God did in our lives. There are those of us, I for one, that valued that year above most others. We're facing some tough times... all of us. If we don't share the great things, the rest of us cannot rejoice with you, and praise and thank God with you. If the trials are not shared, the rest of us cannot bring them before the throne and intercede on your behalf. If any of you are in contact with others of the class who have not set up profiles here, please encourage them to do so. For those who are here, maybe update your information... and check in more often? I'm looking for a bunch of people. If any want to email me directly, please do, at rsible@windstream.net. Thinking of the class, Roger Sible, '76

Update - Posted: January 4, 2010   by Sarah Sheets (Risdon) - 1998
Happy New Year!! Just a brief update. My husband Ray and I bought a house and are now expecting our first baby in June! God is good! We have been practicing on a 2-yr-old niece, an 8-month-old nephew, and a 3-month-old niece (sister to the 2-yr-old). Hopefully, we're up to it!

Many Changes for Me. - Posted: October 23, 2009   by Elizabeth (Callahan) Leeds - 2003
After spending a year teaching in Thailand, I felt that it was time for me to come back home. I didn't really know what I would be doing next, or where God was leading me, but I knew it was the right decision to return. I have been living in Northern Virginia, working as an Administrative Assistant for the Children's Ministry of a large church in the area. My parents were living a few hours away from where I was, but it was close enough that I was able to go down and visit on weekends. These were precious times. In April of 2009 my father (whom many of you have prayed for over the years) passed away. It was difficult for our family, but I now see part of why I was being led back to the states. But not all has been sadness in my life. While I was overseas, I began corresponding with Dave Leeds, an old acquaintance of mine. Then when I came home we began spending lots of time together, and soon we were very much in love. In October of 2009 we got married. :-)

Changes and Searching!? - Posted: October 5, 2009   by Wesley and Suzanne Yerkes - 1986
Dear WOLBI family, I would greatly appreciate your prayers as I am seeking the Lord's will and direction in a new ministry. We served with Missions to Military, Inc. for almost 13 years as a missionary to the US Military, but in 2006 we felt that we could no longer serve under that mission board and resigned. I am currently employed as the Property Administrator of the Salvation Army in Roanoke, VA, but we are desiring to know where God would have us serve in ministry the rest of our time on this earth. I hope to be able to retire in a couple years from the Navy Reserves so this limits us somewhat now, but after that we could go anywhere in the world. I am a "jack of all trades." I can build and repair or blow up (Navy air-launched weapons and the Seabees taught me lots of fun stuff) just about anything. I am a teacher, preacher and apologist. I love teaching God's Word and seeing the "lights come on" in those I teach. I love acting and singing as well as website design and artwork. We are just looking for a place to serve the Lord until he returns and we kind of need some funds to live on, too. Please pray for us. Thanks.

Married - Posted: September 26, 2009   by Galen Thorp - 2000
Just to touch base with 2000 Florida alumns, I thought I'd enter a post saying that I married an Oklahoma girl, Annie Santelmann, on December 6, 2008. If you remember me and we haven't connected on Facebook, send me a message!

The latest update - Posted: September 14, 2009   by Roger Sible - 1976
Hi gang! Well, the Lord has been good to us in providing His instructions on how to manage finances, so we are 'okay' for the time being by having followed them, but resources are not unlimited. Almost 6 months since my last job. Any in this boat with me are welcome to email and discuss options, opportunities, and blessings. Starting a small consulting business is one of them. God bless, Rich (Roger, '76)
